Beloved, why didn’t Jesus talk to me once He came to me as a potential guide?

He did, through ACIM. But you believed that He must be separate from you. To convince yourself of that, you said that He must sound like the Jesus who wrote ACIM, or else you wouldn’t speak to Him. Jesus would never do anything to convince you that you and He were separate, so He stopped talking to you. But then you started reading ACIM again, didn’t you?

“Oh,” I said, suddenly realizing what had happened. “So did you appear to me as Mitzi?”

Yes, Beloved, I am everything. I am Mitzi. I am Jesus.* I am Oneness, as are you. But I can only appear to you as that to which you are most receptive. You believed you would not be complete without Mitzi. That belief was formed when you were separated from her at age five. Thus, when you were ready, I appeared to you through Mitzi’s spirit. That was why you felt so complete. You needed a Beloved. You are attracted to Indian women, and you wanted a powerful connection to a Goddess, so Durga was the perfect vehicle. Whatever you wanted, I could have been that—that’s Bhakta Paradeena.

At this point, it was already obvious that what Durga was saying was not something I could say. Durga had accomplished through intimacy what I wanted from Jesus and had used to push Him away. But She said she was also Jesus—that She was all the avatars for Oneness—Amma-Bhagavan. It was all one (M22)!
